Description
Kverneland 4100 L series, with 3.2 - 4.0m working width, is easy to operate and has a low power requirement, which reduces fuel consumption by allowing the mower to be used with smaller tractors. Due to the independent active suspension, the 4100 L series has a remarkable ability to adapt to ground contours. This technology improves grass flow and is gentler on the crop. It also helps protects the cutterbar from any unforeseen obstacles. Kverneland 4100 L series has a sideward adaption range of 17° in total. This generates many benefits while working on hillsides or controlling the unit on headlands.

- Exceptional ability to adapt to the ground conditions
- Ensures an even pressure across the entire cutterbar in uneven conditions
- The range is 350mm (1’2”) upwards and 235mm (9”) downwards
- Sideward adaption which allows a movement up and down of 8.5° to each side – in total 17°
- Generates many benefits when working on hillsides or along ditches, and also makes it easier to control the unit on headlands
- The gearbox is fixed to the mainframe in order to ensure less movement during operation
- Provides unlimited rotational movement between the machine and the tractor
- Makes it easier to perform sharp turns
- Kverneland uses round discs. Round discs are less susceptible to stone impact, and reduce shock loads in the transmission.
- Stones are expelled immediately, before they have any chance of becoming jammed. The benefits are lower repair and maintenance costs - at the same time as a clean and aggressive cut.
- The cutterbar has a high oil capacity, ensuring a very low working temperature. This ensures an efficient oil cooling and lubrication of the entire cutterbar.
- The long curved gear wheels running in oil provides a very quiet and reliable power transmission.
- The fully welded cutterbar gives a very stiff and strong design for high durability.
- With the ProFit quick knife change system, maintenance of the cutting ability is easy. The knives are changed by one simple operation using the special lever.
