Description
The Kverneland 9671 S Vario is a rake with a 7.1m working width that offers maximum flexibility for raking in various conditions. The TerraLink Plus system ensures that the complete frame is highly flexible and can work in challenging field conditions without leaving crops on the ground.
The machine's twin rotors operate separately, allowing for the collection of one large swath or two smaller ones. Additionally, the rotors can combine two large swaths into one, making it possible to gather up to 12.5m of crop in a single pass. The Vario functions allow the front rotor to shift right or left beside the tractor, reducing crop driving by 50%. Additionally, the swath placement on the left-hand side makes it easy to rake close to hedges and fences.
Highlights
TerraLink Plus contour following system for raking comfort also in challenging conditions.
QuickLift offers fast lift at headlands and sufficient space to drive over the swaths without damages
Unique feature: SideSift device provides the possibility to side shift the front rotor to avoid damage to the tractor
Maintenance-friendly CompactLine gearbox with fully enclosed oil bath design
Features
Features
- The Vario version also offers the patented SideShift system as an option, which comprises electro-hydraulic control of all functions.
- A special feature on the Kverneland 9471 S Vario is the possibility to operate both rotors – front and rear – in an offset position from the tractor cab.
- With this patented system, raking along field boundaries or around trees is no problem – the tractor can run at a safe distance from the obstacles.
- It is also possible to run on raked fields while having the rake offset to the left side.
- Kverneland 9471 S models are equipped with the QuickLift system as standard.
- This ensures a lifting height of 50cm to easily cross over existing swathes. Furthermore the axles are pulled
- Rotors are lifted using only a single acting valve.
- During transport the swath board automatically folds clear. Transport width is below 3m (2.45m with tine arms removed).
- It is possble to collect either one large swath or two smaller swaths.
- The Kverneland 9671 S Vario & Kverneland 9471 S Evo models can place two large swaths into one, allowing a total of up to 12.50m crop to be gathered into one swath.
- 9670S Vario can also place two large swaths into one, allowing a total of up to 13.0 m crop to be gathered into one swath.
- It is also possible to place two small night swaths for hay crops.
- Completely maintenance and wear-free.
- Quiet machine running due to automatic dampening
- Wide track boogies with large wheels provide perfect ground contour following
- Trailed axle configuration enhances quiet running and reduces tractor input power
- Superb tracking in road transport
- The Kverneland CompactLine rakes feature oil-immersed cam discs and guide rollers.
- Tine arm bearings are fully lubricated, and hence absolutely maintenance-free.
- High-tensile tine arm holders and two bearings on either side of the driveshaft, provide the compact unit with strength and dependability.
- Kverneland-developed cam tracks are specifically tailored to individual rotor diameters, for optimal raking at any working width and on any model.

Product FAQ`s
One- or two-swath operation helps the operator adapt to different crop volumes and harvesting methods. In heavier crops, two smaller swaths can improve drying and crop flow, while one larger swath can improve pick-up efficiency in lighter crops.
Accurate rotor guidance and good ground adaptation help collect the crop cleanly, reducing the risk of soil contamination and supporting high-quality forage with a consistent swath shape.
Difference between the 9671S Evo and Vario is that the Vario machine can move the front rotor to the left and the right side. This helps when raking out fences and under trees and especially allows taking more passes into one swath without driving on the swath.
The Kverneland 9671 S Vario combines flexible swath management, clean crop handling and strong adaptability. It is ideal for customers who need one rake that can support different crop volumes, field layouts and harvesting systems.
Easy adjustment from the tractor seat helps reduce operator workload during long harvesting days. This makes it simpler to react to field conditions and supports more confident, efficient operation.
The Kverneland 9671 S Vario gives customers a superb flexibility to create one large swath or two smaller swaths, depending on crop volume and the following harvesting machine. This supports efficient crop flow and easy adaptation in changing field conditions.
